Marseille Fos stakeholder event on March 20^th 2019

The Port of Marseille Fos organizes a day of information and exchanges dedicated to the valorization of industrial CO₂ jointly with the partners of Carbon4PUR and the PIICTO Association (Industrial and Innovation Platform of Caban TOnkin) .

This event will be held on 20 march from 9 am in Fos-sur-mer at the port center Fos 1 and will give the audience a general overview of CO₂ valorization opportunities and current industrial ecology projects related to the port of Marseille Fos. The focus will be on possible benefits, risks and open questions for the industrial area and the territory linked to the CO₂ question.

Project video

We created a short video explaining what Carbon4PUR is trying to achieve.

The goal of the EU-funded project “Carbon4PUR” is to use the waste carbon dioxide of one industry as raw material for another industry. We give carbon a second life. We will take waste gases from the steel industry and convert it into valuable polyurethanes for building insulations and coatings.

Carbon4PUR partners collaborate along the whole value chain. We are working interdisciplinary and across sectors and we share one common interest: Bringing together our competencies for a more sustainable future.
